John7Ledyard DENISON, b. 19 Sept 1826 in Stonington; son of Isaac6 (Isaac5, Daniel4, Daniel3, John2, George1) DENISON and his wife Levina FISH; died 2 July 1906.

He married (1) Mary E. BURROWS on 10 May 1853 and (2) Frances M. BREED on 5 May 1861.
John and his first wife Mary had Edwin C., John B, and Marion [male]. John and his second wife Frances had Learned and Frances R. [Frances R. DENISON married C.F. HOFFMAN and they are also buried in this cemetery. ]

"He in publishing business; editor; and writer until 1872; a lay Baptist preacher. Listed in Who's Who. Lived in Norwich and Hartford"
