Charles FISH (1801-1845) (Sands7, Nathan6, Nathan5, Samuel4, John3, Alice2, John1), ship's officer and teacher, son of Sands and Bridget (Gallup) Fish, was born 3 Feb 1801, at Groton, CT and died 17 Aug 1845 in his 45th year. He married Esther B. WILLIAMS 10 April 1822. The couple had Nathan, Frances M., Charles D. and William Stebbins FISH.
Biographical: "He was a sailor and ship's officer, hatter and school teacher; a member of the Methodist Church, kind and easygoing. "
