This is probably the original gravestone of Frederick DENISON, Jr. It was found in a barn and turned in to the Denison Homestead. This is a photo I took of it as it was on display on Denison Day.
I KNEW it looked familar but it wasn't until I reviewed my photos that I found the newer one at Elm Grove Cemetery. It has almost the same wording on it but it used the older date format of May 31ft. [read that as 31st]
Does anyone know where his widow is buried? Did she marry again? Two gravestone double the questions!
