Frederick Denison section

Frederick DENISON area

I am learning that I need to take more photos of groups of gravestones. This section shows placement of stone which, without this photo, I might never have figured out.

Sharon DeBartolo Carmack's Book, "Your Guide to Cemetery Research", is an excellent read for those of us who like exploring ancestors at rest.

On page 158, she tells us that a husband is usually placed to the left of the husband ("woman was created from the left rib of Adam") and in this case, this is how I have identified the gravestone of Frederick Denison, Sr.

Elm Grove Cemetery is a well maintained beautiful garden cemetery. It is a joy to take photos in this peaceful place.
