This is the gravestone for James Albert Barber placed here by the government. It is in the style of the Civil War miltary issued gravestones.
James was a Corporal in Co. G of the 1st Light Artillery of Rhode Island.
He married Hannah Josephine Tourgee after the war and had seven sons. Sadly, she is buried in an unmarked grave.
