I am slowly scanning the photos in my parent's wedding album. They were married 62 years ago today. All of the people in this photo are gone but not forgotten and I have photos of all of their gravestones.
This is the photo of the wedding lunch at my grandparent's house on a very icy, snowy December day.
A note: This is my grandparent's dining room. I remember the window behind where my parents are standing. That's where the bird feeders were. Grandpa (I called him Bop) and I used to sit and he'd use the Audubon Guide to teach me the birds. He gave me the bird guide for my 2nd birthday. I still have the silver creamer and sugar dish. But, where have I put them?

What a lovely picture, and I know you must treasure it so. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Happy Anniversary to your Mom and Dad! It must have been a beautiful wedding, for the photo is beautiful! It's so wonderful to remember these events. Thanks for honoring them with us!
Great picture. I'll bet that is a white milk glass piece by Westmoreland - the compost on the left probably with mints or nuts being served in it. Can't wait to see all of those photos you're scanning.
Hello Midge-
I stumbled upon your blog and I really like what you are doing to remember your family and your family's life events. (I like your posts on gravestones, as I also enjoy strolling through old graveyards). I wanted to introduce you to our site (http://www.lifesnapz.com). We enable people to capture, share and explore their life events using photos, videos and text. Timelines and maps let people explore the when and where of an event and link them to others. If you get a chance, check us out. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Keep up the great work,
Bob Armour
