Midge, have you determined our relationship? I don't have a Mercy Gallup and I gather that is your direct line?

Midge Frazel said...

Yes, I am a direct descendant of Mercy Gallup and William Denison through their daughter Esther Denison.

Mercy Gallup and her brother Benadam Gallup are both my direct line ancestors.

William Denison and his brother George Denison married sisters Mercy and Lucy Gallup.

It's a pretty complicated family tree!

I wonder how many of us have multiple lines of descendancy in the Gallup family...I know I have at least three different cousins who married each other!
