With the holidays quickly upon us, I know I will not have enough time to get everything done. Winter approaches and cemetery visits will be over until spring. Such is life.
This week I am thinking about the four lines to Mayflower passengers that I have proved. None of them have real gravestones. The family surname societies have placed memorial monuments for three of them. It was fun locating them and photographing them. I took the photo of Myles Standish's grave (rock) because it was there even though I am not a descendant. I have recently proved a line to John Billington but I don't think that a memorial gravestone exists for him.
