The Brown brothers burned 29 March 1770, two hundred and forty one years ago. I always marvel that a gravestone this old is still readable. It was probably a house fire.
The Vital Records of Stow to 1850 is "not in copyright" at Archive.org. I downloaded it in PDF to have handy as I look around at the Lower Village Cemetery, which is the oldest in Stow. I made a screen shot of the page (237) of Stow Deaths for the three boys, Edward, John and James.
