For Valentine's Day, I thought I'd show you this very lovely stone that I spied in the Old Ship's Meetinghouse graveyard in Hingham, MA. As I approached it, I was sure it was going to be the gravestone in memory of a lovely young wife. It's not. It's the gravestone of an old man. Love is a funny thing!
Capt' Thomas LINCOLN died 28 Nov 1708 and I am sure he was well loved.
