Commonly found on New England Gravestone is the person's age at death. Ds means days.
This can be used to approximate the birth date. In my experience, this information plus the year of death can be used as supporting evidence to help find a birth date.

This term consort is defined as a spouse. Mostly seen on female graves to indicate that she was a wife. Sometimes it is used to indicate that the woman was a current wife having been the widow of another man.
The f in this actual carving is called the long S (or elongated s) and was a common substitute for an s.
This is the gravestone of Abigail Fish double consort! (Outlived two husbands!)
Abigail was the wife of Daniel ELDREDGE and Dea. Daniel DENISON and daughter of Samuel FISH died June 17, 1784 age 93, this gravestone is located in the Old Packer-Burrows Cemetery in Groton, CT
