Mums, a photo by midgefrazel on Flickr.
September 2 marks the first anniversary of our big move from Bridgewater to Stow.Moving is hard and so is the first year. We have unpacked and unpacked. We bought new furniture and decorations. Steve planted spring flowers. His mother and father both died.
These are the mums that will spend the fall in pots next to our walk. We hope the upcoming winter is not as harsh as last winter. But, we are glad Steve wasn't working in all that mess. We are grateful for family nearby and relatively good health.
Hardest hit are our friends and neighbors back home. I think they are still wondering why we moved. Well, time will heal.
Welcome to fall.....

Hi Midge, I know the feeling. It has been two years since I packed up with hubby and moved half-way across America from the West coast. Being friendly with new neighbors helps as does keeping up with old friends on the Internet. Congratulations on your move to Stow. I know you are enjoying your new home and neighborhood! Happy cemetery hunting, genealogy, and blogging!
