Gravestone Services of New England, a photo by midgefrazel on Flickr.
This morning, I ventured out to a local cemetery here in Stow, MA to test out the new app for my iPhone called Resting Spot.
We weren't there too long when "GH", the cemetery supervisor for the town of Stow showed up to do some work in the cemetery. This is the second time this has happened to me since meeting him. He must have "midge radar" or something. He lives in my neighborhood.
We commented on some of the restorative work going on and he pointed out the sign for the company providing the service.
Gravestone conservation is not something that should be done by amateurs. It required training and a license in Massachusetts. [Examples of the work done by this company]
