Tombstone Tuesday: Epitaph Week.

"Death is a debt to nature due, which I have paid and so must you."

There are many men named John Williams but I chose to show you this stone because it is really quite well preserved for this ancient burying ground. John was the sixth generation from Robert Williams of Roxbry which really gives a better understanding of the time that passes in the early years of our country.

The epitaph, which is not uncommon, is a warning to those who pass by. Death comes to us all.
