I love the "Same Day Service" slogan. I say that all the time now. You can too. it's not a copyrighted phrase.
My dad looks relaxed standing outside smoking. This is the only color photo I have of the plant. I'd forgotten it was brick.
There were so many nice people that worked in my family business. I remember Max, the tailor but I don't think I ever knew his last name.
I did figure out how to find Max in the Cranston City Directory. It took only a few minutes. I was surprised! I am saving that story for another day.
When I look at this photo, I get a lump in my throat for the days when my parents and grandparents were alive.
