A delightful friend gave me these "Nova Scotia" maps and book. I can't wait to read them.

Any mention of Guysborough County in there? Or the towns of Boylston or Manchester? I've got a few Loyalist ancestors who were in that area.

Elizabeth, I suppose it would be just too coincidental that your initial stands for Hemlow...? I've got ancestors in Guysborough County, too. Hemlow devolved from Umlach/Umloch. There's also McDaniel, Kennedy, Pryde/Pride, Hewitt, Mitchell

Pam, no, the initial is for Handler, my married name. My Guysborough names include: Pyle, Whitman, Hull, Morgan, Atwater, Hadley, most (but not all) of whom were Loyalists who moved there from the states in about 1783.
