Found in the three large boxes of my husband's family photos is this cigar box with a lot of small photographs neatly bundled together with elastic bands by the owner who is my 97 year old (this month) father-in-law.
He is the man in the photograph in the lid. He was an engineer and I think it shows by the way the items in this box are organized.
I put everything back very carefully in a plastic bag until we can go through all the photos.
