As I begin to scan some favorite photos to put in a collage in my hallway, I am finding that some of my best photos are really funny things that happened on ordinary days.
This is my dad, Tom, who religiously put the car in the garage every single night. I think he liked things "buttoned up" and finished before he went to bed. (Me, too)
One night, he looked out in the driveway and said, "Oh, s$#%t, I forgot to put the car in the garage. So, he put on his overcoat (which his suit coat was inside) over his pjs and bathrobe and went outside.
I ran to get the camera to take his picture as he came inside the house.
We all wish some days could be made better by finishing them up the right way. Miss you Daddy.
