Having only lived here since September, 2010, I have not had a full year to learn about community events. We have for two years gone to my daughter's home in the next town to watch a short parade and service since it goes right by their house and into the cemeteries across the street. I am looking forward to our Memorial Day stroll this year.
This is a lovely monument in Brookside Cemetery in Stow. It is on a hill and is no longer completely level. On the other side are several flat markers for veterans of World War II from Stow. This is where the parade will end for Memorial Day.
