Colonial Dames Flag Holder

I was so excited to see this flag holder at the gravestone of Deacon Edmund Rice. The National Society of Colonial Dames of America must be involved in the placement of this flag holder.

XVII century. A reason to know your Roman numerals. 13 stars for the thirteen states.

Nice shot, Midge. I started taking closeups of the flagholders at the cemetery here in Abington this week
when it finally dawned on me they were not all the same. Ah well, I'm still learning.
