Sentimental Sunday: Travels with Kathy

Because today is Sentimental Sunday, I thought it might be fun to show you a photo taken with my camera by a total stranger in Florida while we were at the FETC conference for us techno-educator-geeks. Florida in January is always good for us New Englanders.

Kathy Schrock has been known to talk me into the craziest things. You can see that we are talking cell phone to cell phone on our newly purchased pink "speaker phones" . I can't find mine. It might be in one of the plastic totes I packed when we moved. 

Kathy is at ISTE in Atlanta, Georgia as I write this. She helped me pick out my new MacBook Air laptop and we planned to have her come and help me set it up. I see by my order status that it is now coming to my local Apple Store on July 3 instead of how we planned it. Good thing she and I are "always" connected so I can get personal help whenever I need it.

The funny part that is when we met she was the die-hard Windows user and I was the Mac user. I bought my first Windows based computer in 1996 and somewhere along the line after that she switched to primarily using a Mac.  

Well, it's a Win-Mac (or is that Mac-Win?) life for me now....
