DENNISON

It is fun to look for your own family surname in a cemetery that is not even remotely near where your ancestos lived. My Denison ancestors would be very surprised to see this gravestone with the double N .

Italy

My son-in-law spotted this gravestone in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Watertown, MA. I took several photos of it when we discovered it was in Italian. It features a large cross, a plot marker with granite flush to the ground marker. Many of the gravestones are back to back with the next row.

My friend Polly Kimmett, was kind enough to help me with part of the transcription.

This is the grave of a man named Michele Sacco, who might have come from Italy to Massachusetts from the same location as our Sacco family.

Born in 1876 he died 16 March 1926 at 49 years of age.

I think that the other names are his wife and perhaps a sister.
