As part of my project based approach to genealogy, I will not be leaving Tombstone Tuesday behind. I will still post a gravestone on Tuesday whether it fits in my project or not.
Tuesday will be a special day.
But since today is the beginning of a New Year, I will share (once again for those who have been reading my blog for a while), the gravestone of my maternal grandfather. He and his brother Dudley and my grandmother are buried together at Elm Grove Cemetery in Mystic, CT.
He was the oldest son of Charlie, the founder of Victor Cleansing Co. He had a big impact on the business so this is his story too.

I've been to Mystic, Connecticut and found the painting of the ship the "Electric" in the Museum. It brought some of my ancestors to America. I love findagrave.com and graveyard research. Sometime you have to begin you research with the obituaries.
